The Conjugator

This tool will provide anyone with the ability to conjugate verbs in Mi’Kmaw and Maliseet. It will also provide the capability to look up conjugated verbs without knowing the root word.

When I first started publishing children books in various languages, I found frustration when looking up conjugated verbs in dictionaries; they were only listed in their ‘root’ form. When I wanted to change the tense from past to present, or needed to alter the subject from ‘me’ to ‘we’, I couldn’t find any reference document how to do this. The Conjugator was created so anyone can have this ability.

The Conjugator requires one to choose either the Mi’Kmaw or Maliseet language. Then type in the verb, in English or Mi’Kmaw/Maliseet, even a portion of the verb you are trying to look up, then hit translate.
